The following is the Legislation passed at a Regular Session of the Council of the City of Findlay, Ohio, held on May 6, 2026
ORDINANCES:2026-037 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY SITUATED IN THE TOWNSHIP OF ALLEN, COUNTY OF HANCOCK, STATE OF OHIO, AND BEING PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 31, T2N, R11E, A TRACT OF LAND CONSISTING OF 48.987 ACRES OF LAND AND FURTHER DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZING THE LAW DIRECTOR TO PETITION THE COUNTY COMMSSIONERS TO ADJUST THE BOUNDRIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 503.07 (HEREINAFTER REFERED TO AS THE COLE ANNEXATION).
2026-038 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY SITUATED IN THE TOWNSHIP OF MARION, COUNTY OF HANCOCK, STATE OF OHIO, AND BEING OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 9, T1N, R11E, BEING A PART OF LOTS 2 THRU 7, ALL OF LOTS 8 AND 9, PART OF LOT 10, ALL OF LOTS 11 THRU 13, AND PART OF LOT 14 OF ORCHARD ACRES AS RECORDED IN PLAT VOLUME 4, PAGE 41. ALSO BEING PART OF LOT 4 ALONG WITH THE SOUTH HALF OF VACATED STREET LYING NORTH OF AND ADJACENT TO SAID PART OF LOT 4, AND PART OF LOT 5, BOTH OF THE DEIDRICK ADDITION AS RECORDED IN PLAT VOLUME 4, PAGE 65 OF THE HANCOCK COUNTY PLAT RECORDS. ALSO PART OF BRIGHT ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, A TRACT OF LAND CONSISTING OF 5.631 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS AND FURTHER DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZING THE LAW DIRECTOR TO PETITION THE COUNTY COMMSSIONERS TO ADJUST THE BOUNDRIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 503.07 (HEREINAFTER REFERED TO AS THE BRIGHT ROAD AND WESTGATE DRIVE ANNEXATION).
2026-039 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1100 ET SEQ OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FINDLAY, OHIO, KNOWN AS THE ZONING CODE BY REZONING THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY (REFERRED TO AS 0 KEITH PARKWAY PARCEL NO. 57-0001019008 REZONE) WHICH PREVIOUSLY WAS ZONED “C2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL” TO “I-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL”.
2026-040 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1100 ET SEQ OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FINDLAY, OHIO, KNOWN AS THE ZONING CODE BY ZONING THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY AS C-2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE 12100 COUNTY ROAD 99 AKA SHEETZ #873).
2026-047 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF FINDLAY, OHIO, TO PARTNER WITH HANCOCK COUNTY BY ENTERING INTO A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE COMMUNITY HOUSING IMPACT AND PRESERVATION (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS “CHIP”) PROGRAM FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADDRESSING LOCAL HOUSING NEEDS WITHIN HANCOCK COUNTY, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
2026-048 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING FUNDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
2026-050 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING FUNDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
2026-052 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 2025-129 OF THE CITY OF FINDLAY, OHIO, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE “SALARY ORDINANCE”, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
