NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Astoria's Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 19,  2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Astoria City Hall, Council Chambers, 1095 Duane Street, Astoria. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following request:

Miscellaneous Review request (MR26-01) by Clatsop County to paint a wall graphic on the remaining south wall of the former Darigold Building, at 385 9th Street (Map T8N-R9W Section 8CB, Tax Lot 6700, Block 27, Lots 5,6, and the easterly portion of lot 7, McClure's Astoria) in the C4 Zone. The site is adjacent to structures designated as historic individually and/or in the Downtown National Register Historic District. The following criteria are applicable to this request: Astoria Development Code Articles 8, 9 and Comprehensive Plan Section CP.240 to .255.
