NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
June 1, 2026

The City of Astoria hereby issues a public notice, pursuant to ORS 271.110, that the City has initiated proceedings to vacate portions of the 20th St., 22nd St. and Franklin Ave. rights-of-way adjacent to Columbia Memorial Hospital at 2111 Exchange St.  The right of way is described as follows:  

A portion of the 20th Street right-of-way lying between the southerly right-of-way of Franklin Avenue and approximately 7.5 feet northerly of the southerly line of Lot 1, Block 12, Shively's Astoria, and adjacent to Lots 1, Block 12 and Lot 6, Block 11, Shively's Astoria; and

A portion of the 22nd Street right-of-way lying between the southerly right-of-way of Exchange Street and the northerly right-of-way of Franklin Avenue, and abutting Lots 6 through 11 of W.S. Kenny's Subdivision and Block 141 of Shively's Astoria; and
