NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED TAX LEVY FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2026 Pursuant to Section 58.1-3007 of the Code of Virginia and amendments thereto, the Wythe County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing. The purpose of the public hearing is to give the citizens of Wythe County an opportunity to comment on the proposed tax levy for Calendar Year 2026. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Board of Supervisors' Meeting Room, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, Virginia, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter practical. Any resident who wishes to speak to the Board regarding the proposed tax levy is encouraged to do so.
