136866 Notice to Bidders NOTICE TO BIDDERS Borst Park Softball Complex Lighting Project Sealed bids for the above public works project will be received by the City of Centralia City Clerk Office, 118 W Maple St (PO Box 609), Centralia, WA, 98531 until 11:00 AM, Monday, April 27, at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This contract includes the installation of stadium light poles to serve the Borst Park Softball Complex (4 fields). Installation must take place between Aug 15-Oct 31, 2026. Contractor must supply all materials. All bids must be submitted on company letterhead and each proposal must be accompanied by cash, bid bond, or certified check made payable to the City of Centralia, in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total bid. Bid shall include all applicable sales and use tax, all fees and shipping and delivery charges. The bid shall be labeled "Borst Park Softball Complex Lighting Project" on the envelope. The City of Centralia hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Centralia encourages contracting procedures that provide M/WBEs equal opportunity to participate as subcontractor on City contracts. The City of Centralia reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities in the bid or bidding. Contractual documents may be obtained by going to the City of Centralia website www.cityofcentralia.com and going to the section on bid opportunities.
