CALL FOR RESOURCES CFR 2526-04 Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Curriculum Spokane Public Schools is seeking instructional resources to support English Language Arts (ELA) instruction for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students. The purpose of this call is to identify instructional resources that support the development of language, reading, and writing skills for Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners within accessible learning environments. The district is requesting materials that provide visually accessible, language-rich literacy instruction aligned with the Washington State English Language Arts Learning Standards. Resources should be appropriate for educational environments in which students access instruction through visual language and visual learning strategies, including classrooms where American Sign Language (ASL) supports language development, comprehension, and academic discourse while students develop literacy in written English.
