K-5 SCIENCE CORE CURRICULUM

Spokane Public Schools is seeking a Grade K–5 Science core curriculum that supports high-quality instruction through the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), equitable learning opportunities, and standards-based practices. The curriculum should promote coherent, connected learning experiences to deepen student understanding and application by intentionally integrating science with other content areas, including ELA and mathematics. The curriculum needs to be aligned to the Washington State Science Learning Standards that were adopted in 2013.
