PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO APPROPRIATE PUBLIC WATERS
TAKE NOTICE:
That Oregon Water Resources Department of Pendleton, Oregon on April 20, 2026, under Water Right Application No. S3-31062, filed for a permit to appropriate public surface water, subject to existing rights, from Mill Creek in the amount of 8 cubic feet per second (cfs), 967.93 acre-feet per year (ac-ft/yr) from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026, for temporary instream flow purposes (A portion of Oregon Water Right No. 13276 will be temporarily changed to instream flow within the State of Washington).
The source of the proposed appropriation is located within the NE¼NW¼ of Section 22, Township 6 N., Range 38 E.W.M., within Umatilla County, OR. The proposed trust reach begins where Mill Creek crosses the state line within the NW¼ of Section 18, Township 6 N., Range 38 E.W.M., and terminates where the Walla Walla River meets the Columbia River, all within Walla Walla County, WA.
