LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE (TITLE 17 TOWN CODE) ZONING
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Marana Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 27, 2026 at or after 6:00 p.m. at the Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex located at 11555 W. Civic Center Drive, Marana, Arizona, to consider making a recommendation to the Town Council to amend the Marana Land Development Code.
The proposed amendments would modify Chapter 17-10 (Signs) of the Land Development Code, by adding new Section 17-10-39 entitled “Community activity signs” allowing banners for advertising community activities in residential areas, and making conforming amendments to Section 17-10-5 (Exempt signs), section 17-10-30 (Temporary signs), and Section 17-10-31 (Banners); amending Section 17-10-37 (Residential subdivision sign program) to revise provisions related to the expiration of residential subdivision sign programs and to allow advertising in residential subdivisions with homes for rent; and making other miscellaneous revisions to Chapter 17-10.
