Bids shall be submitted electronically through the District’s e-procurement platform, Bonfire, at the location identified above. In addition, an original copy of the bid security is required and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, no later than the date and time specified above, to the District’s Purchasing Department, Administrative Offices, 2820 Clark Avenue, Norco, CA 92860, Attention: Brandy Cuttress, Purchasing Supervisor (hereinafter, “District Office”). Project Name: Bid No. 2025-26-319 Purchase of Modular Building Kitchen Building at Stallings Elementary School.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Corona-Norco Unified School District of Riverside County, California, acting by and through its Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as “DISTRICT”, will receive up to, but not later than the above-stated time, unless extended by addendum, sealed bids for the award of a contract for the above Project. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent bidding and Contract Documents. Bids shall be electronically unsealed and publicly read aloud following the Bid Deadline stated above. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned to Bidder unopened.

Any questions or request for information (RFI) must be submitted through the Bonfire e-procurement portal no later than 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026. No other questions will be accepted after this date and time.DISTRICT has elected to become subject to the alternative bidding procedures set forth in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (“CUPCCAA”), Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq., with respect to public projects, as that term is defined in Public Contract Code section 22002(c). This Project is subject to CUPCCAA’s formal bidding procedures per Public Contract Code section 22032(c). Accordingly, notice is being given in accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code section 22037. Further, the contract will be awarded and/or the bids rejected in accordance with CUPCCAA.
A mandatory job walk will be conducted on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, promptly at 11:00 a.m. at Stallings Elementary School, in front of the Administration Building, located at 1980 Fullerton Avenue, Corona, CA 92881. All attendees must check-in at the front office, providing a valid, government issued driver’s license or other photo I.D., to obtain a guest badge prior to attending the job walk. Attendees shall be required to sign an attendance list to be provided and attend the entire job walk. There will be no exceptions. Late arrivals will not be allowed to participate.
Each bidder shall possess, at the time the bid is awarded, a valid California Class B license pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active license throughout the duration of the contract. Small businesses and firms owned and controlled by women, minorities and persons with disabilities and/or disabled veterans are encouraged to participate in this solicitation.No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on the Bid Form or Designation of Subcontractors Form for the Project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be awarded a contract for the Project unless registered with DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR.
Each Bidder agrees that if its bid is accepted, it shall comply with all prevailing wage laws, regulations, and requirements, regarding the enforcement of the payment of such prevailing wages by the Public Works Unit of the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement of the Department of Industrial RelationsThe awarded contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the prevailing wage requirements set forth in Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the Labor Code. Contractors or subcontractors submitting bids must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Per Senate Bill 854, all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects will be required to register, and annually renew, online, for the program. No bid can be accepted nor any contract or subcontract entered into without proof that the contractor or subcontractor is registered.
