SECTION VSCOPE OF WORKIntroduction and BackgroundThe Jurupa Community Services District Parks & Recreation Department is currently responsible for providing recreation programs, services and events; managing and maintaining over 240 acres of parkland, including 15 parks, a 35,000 square foot Community Center, a 5,000 square foot Activity Center, and a 2.5 acre special event venue in the JCSD Parks Territory within the City of Eastvale; graffiti abatement for the cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley; and maintaining over 4 million square feet of public frontage and median landscaping, as contracted by the cities of Eastvale and Jurupa Valley.
Project OverviewThe District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete improvements to various frontages located in Jurupa Valley under Landscape Maintenance District 91-1 in Zones 1 & 2 per Exhibit A-1, A-2, and B.
Scope of WorkContractor shall provide all the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, safety apparatus, permitting, etc. required to make all demolitions and renovations to the planter areas outlined in Landscape Maintenance District 91-1 in Zones 1 & 2 per Exhibit A-1, A-2, and B.
The specific project locations, limits of work, quantities, improvement details, plans, technical specifications, and any special conditions are set forth in Exhibit A-1, A-2, and B, which shall be incorporated into and made part of this NIB and resulting Contract.
