NOTICE INVITING BIDS ONTARIOMONTCLAIR SCHOOL DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that the OntarioMontclair School District of San Bernardino County, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive bids for SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF ENGINEERED WOOD FIBERS UNIT PRICE BID, BID NO. C267110 for which plans are available for download on or after May 13, 2026 on Bonfire: https://omsd.bonfirehub.com/portal/?tab=openOpportunities . Sealed bids containing the documents specified in the Information for Bidders shall be received up to, but not later than, 2:30 p.m . on May 26, 2026 through Bonfire (please, no physical paper submissions). The bid openings will take place via Zoom at 2:30 p.m. on May 26, 2026 . The District requires that bidders possess the following classification(s) of contractor's licenses and certifications at the time the Contracts are awarded and throughout the term of the Contract: B or C27 (for contract B). If the license classification specified herein is that of a specialty contractor, the specialty contractor awarded the contract for this work shall itself construct a majority of the work. SUPPLY & INSTALLATION OF ENGINEERED WOOD FIBERS AT VARIOUS SITES WILL EXTEND FROM JULY 1, 2026 THRU JUNE 30, 2027. Failure to complete the work within the specified time will result in the imposition of liquidated damages for each day of delay as specified in the Information for Bidders. If the bid is accepted, the bidder shall perform at least 15% of the work, exclusive of supervisory and clerical work, without the services of any subcontractor. The bid shall include the tasks the bidder will perform to meet the 15% requirement. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or information in any bids or in the bidding. Bidders are advised that this contract is a public work for purposes of the California Labor Code, which requires payment of prevailing wages. Wage rates can be obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations at http://www.dir.ca.gov/OPRL/dprewagedetermination.htm As of March 1, 2015, all contractors bidding on a public works project must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. http://www.dir.ca.gov/PublicWorks/PublicWorks.html The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the general prevailing rates of wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed. Copies of these wage rate determinations, entitled PREVAILING WAGE SCALE, are maintained at the DISTRICT office and are available to any interested party upon request.
