Project Name: SECURITY FENCING PHASE 2A – VARIOUS SITESNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Corona-Norco Unified School District of Riverside County, California, acting by and through its Board of Education, hereinafter referred to as “DISTRICT”, will receive up to, but not later than the above-stated time, unless extended by addendum, sealed bids for the award of a contract for the above Project. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent bidding and Contract Documents. Bids shall be electronically unsealed and publicly and read aloud following the Bid Deadline stated above. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned to Bidder unopened.DISTRICT has elected to become subject to the alternative bidding procedures set forth in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (“CUPCCAA”), Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq., with respect to public projects, as that term is defined in Public Contract Code section 22002(c). This Project is subject to CUPCCAA’s formal bidding procedures per Public Contract Code section 22032(c). Accordingly, notice is being given in accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code section 22037. Further, the contract will be awarded and/or the bids rejected in accordance with CUPCCAA.A mandatory pre-bid conference and multi-site job walk will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 beginning at Riverview Elementary School, located at 4600 Pedley Ave, Norco, CA 92860, at the front office, for the purposes of discussing the bid documents, answering any questions generated by those in attendance, and viewing the sites. All attendees must check-in at the front office, providing a valid, government issued driver’s license or other photo I.D., to obtain a guest badge prior to attending the conference and job walk. Attendees shall be required to sign an attendance list to be provided and attend the entire pre-bid conference and job walk. There will be no exceptions.The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class B- General Contractor and Class C-13- Fencing Contractor licenses at time of submittal of the bid, and shall maintain the license throughout the duration of the Project.No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on the Bid Form or Designation of Subcontractors Form for the Project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be awarded a contract for the Project unless registered with DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Bidder shall designate in its bid those portions of the Contract Bidder intends to perform without the services of any Subcontractor which satisfies the aforementioned 15% requirement.
