NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District (“District”) of Los Angeles County, California acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the “Owner” or “District”, will receive bids up to, but not later than 9:00 a.m. on April 28, 2026, sealed bids for the award of a contract for: BID NO. 045-26-05-13MEASURE SOS 2026 FENCING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT ATSILVER SPUR ELEMENTARY, SOLEADO ELEMENTARY, VISTA GRANDE ELEMENTARYAND RIDGECREST INTERMEDIATE Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: C-13. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. All bids shall be made and presented on the forms presented by the Owner. Bids shall be received at the Office of the Purchasing Department at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, California 90274, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place . Responses must be sealed and clearly marked “Fencing Improvements Project at Silver Spur Elementary, Soleado Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary, and Ridgecrest Intermediate, Bid No. 045-26-05-13, Measure SOS Project No. 2026-S0S020.” Any bids received after the above-specified time or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened and will be rejected. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. but not less than five calendar days after publication of the original notice. The mandatory job walk will take place in the following order: Vista Grande Elementary7032 Purple Ridge Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275Silver Spur Elementary5500 Ironwood Street, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275Soleado Elementary27800 Longhill Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275Ridgecrest Intermediate28915 Northbay Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275 Any contractor bidding on this project who fails to attend the entire mandatory job walk and conference will be deemed a non-responsive bidder.
