No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. All bids shall be made and presented on the forms presented by the Owner. Bids shall be received at the Office of the Purchasing Department at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, California 90274, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place . Responses must be sealed and clearly marked Fencing Improvements Project at Silver Spur Elementary, Soleado Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary, and Ridgecrest Intermediate, Bid No. 045260513, Measure SOS Project No. 2026S0S020. Any bids received after the abovespecified time or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened and will be rejected. A mandatory PreBid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. but not less than five calendar days after publication of the original notice. The mandatory job walk will take place in the following order: Vista Grande Elementary 7032 Purple Ridge Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275 Silver Spur Elementary 5500 Ironwood Street, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275 Soleado Elementary 27800 Longhill Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275 Ridgecrest Intermediate 28915 Northbay Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275 Any contractor bidding on this project who fails to attend the entire mandatory job walk and conference will be deemed a nonresponsive bidder.
