PALOS VERDES PENINSULA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTNOTICE TO BIDDERSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District (“District”) will receive bids up to, but not later than 10:00 a.m. on June 4, 2026, for the award of a contract for:
BID NO. 048-26-06-24GYMNASIUM BLEACHER REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION AT PENINSULA HIGH SCHOOL
Bids shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and will take place at the Purchasing Office located at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, CA 90274.
Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: Class B General Building Contractor. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted.
All bids shall be made and presented on the forms presented by the Owner. Bids shall be submitted by email tocrossr@pvpusd.netandsnyderc@pvpusd.netwith the subject line clearly labeled “Peninsula HS Gymnasium Bleacher Replacement, Bid No. 048-26-06-24.” Any bids received after the above-specified time or after any extensions due to material changes shall not be opened and will be rejected.
The project includes Gym Bleacher Replacement and Installation. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference at Peninsula High School, 27118 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. for the purpose of acquainting all prospective bidders with the bid documents and the work site. Failure to attend this mandatory pre-bid conference may disqualify the non-attending bidder from the bid.
Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice and all other documents comprising the contract documents. All interested parties may obtain the bid documents and additional information about this project by visiting the district website at www.pvpusd.net/bids.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process.
