No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. All bids shall be made and presented on the forms presented by the Owner. Bids shall be received at the Office of the Purchasing Department at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, California 90274, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place . Responses must be sealed and clearly marked “Fencing Improvements Project at Silver Spur Elementary, Soleado Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary, and Ridgecrest Intermediate, Bid No. 045-26-05-13, Measure SOS Project No. 2026-S0S020.” Any bids received after the above-specified time or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened and will be rejected. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. but not less than five calendar days after publication of the original notice.
