No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. This Contract is subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. All bids shall be made and presented on the forms presented by the Owner. Bids shall be received at the Office of the Purchasing Department at 38 Crest Road West, Rolling Hills, California 90274, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place . Responses must be sealed and clearly marked “Asphalt Improvements Project at Dapplegray Elementary, Mira Catalina Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary, and Palos Verdes Intermediate, Bid No. 044-26-05-13, Measure SOS Project No. 2026-S0S019.” Any bids received after the above-specified time or after any extensions due to material changes shall be returned unopened and will be rejected. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for contractors who are prequalified for this project under Daily Breeze Ad Order Number 0011782156. The conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. but not less than five calendar days after publication of the original notice.
