NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING City of Vacaville, City Council, 650 Merchant St., Vacaville, California 95688 DATE OF MEETING: May 12, 2026 TIME OF MEETING: 6:00 p.m. PLACE OF MEETING: Council Chambers, 650 Merchant St. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that: Public Participation and Comment is requested on the following: CITY OF VACAVILLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM YEAR 2025-2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) funding is awarded annually to the City of Vacaville by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to improve the housing and neighborhood conditions in target areas, with its principal goal being to benefit low- and moderate-income persons. The City is of Vacaville hereby notifies the general public if its plan to submit the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan (AAP) for Program Year 2025-2026 to HUD. The AAP describes activities to be undertaken, summarizes geographic distribution of these activities, and describes actions that support housing and related community development activities in the community. This program year, proposed activities include but are not limited to: Public Service funding for Vacaville Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club and Leaven Kids, Planning and Administration, and a capital improvement project. The 2025-2026 AAP will be available for public review and comment for 30 days from April 7, 2026, through May 12, 2026. The 2025-2026 AAP can be reviewed the City of Vacaville website at www.CityofVacaville.gov or a copy can be requested by contacting Holly Babich at the Housing and Community Services Department at 707-449-5694 or email at Holly.Babich@CityofVacaville.gov On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the City of Vacaville will hold a public meeting to discuss and receive public comment on the 2025-2026 AAP prior to submission to HUD. All persons and organizations are encouraged to participate in the process and provide public comments. Those interested are invited to be present and to submit statements either orally or in writing, during the public comment period or during said public meeting. The City will consider all citizen comments in finalizing these documents.
