NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 28, 2026, the City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, adopted an Ordinance entitled:
ORDINANCE NO. 2026-1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAGUNA HILLS, CALIFORNIA, ADDING SECTION 11-12.110 TO CHAPTER 11-12 (STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING) OF TITLE 11 (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC) OF THE LAGUNA HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING PARALLEL PARKING LINES
The Ordinance adds Section 11-12.110 (Parallel Parking Lines) to Chapter 11-12 (Stopping, Standing and Parking) of Title 11 (Vehicles and Traffic) to the Laguna Hills Municipal Code to delegate authority to the City Engineer to establish, designate and mark parallel parking spaces with white lines on any public street where parallel parking is required by the California Vehicle Code when the City Engineer determines that such lines would facilitate the parking of vehicles or alleviate a hazardous condition. The Ordinance would prohibit the stopping, standing, or parking of vehicles outside of delineated parallel parking space lines. The Ordinance would also authorize the City Engineer to remove white parallel parking space lines when a traffic engineering investigation finds that the condition because of which they were placed no longer exist.
Ordinance 2026-1 was adopted by the City Council of the City of Laguna Hills, California, at a regular meeting thereof on the 28th day of April 2026, by the following vote
