SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held in the Boardof Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Room 263, Redding, California, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard, for the Board of Supervisors of the County of Shasta, State of California, to consider introducing, waiving the reading of, and enacting the following:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF SHASTA
AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 378,
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF SHASTA,
A PORTION OF THE ZONING PLAN
(ZONE AMENDMENT 25-0002 ? VINGENZO COLLETTI DBA ZINCO HOLDING, LLC)
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, at this public hearing, all interested persons may appear and be heard thereon.
SUMMARY OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE: The proposed ordinance would amend the zoning of an approximately 1.5-acre parcel located at 17014 Keswick Dam Road, Redding, CA 96003, which is directly northwest and across from the intersection of Keswick Dam Road and Baker Road. (Assessor's Parcel Number 115-150-002 as that APN is assigned for purposes of the 2025 Regular Assessment Roll) from the Interim Rural Residential (I-R) zone district to the One-Family Residential (R-1) zone district.
The Board of Supervisors will also consider adopting a resolution to approve Tract Map 25-0001 to subdivide the subject property into six (6) parcels of 6,330 square-feet, 6,687 square-feet, 8,361 square-feet, 7,881 square-feet, 7,940 square-feet, and 14,192 square-feet in size.
CEQA DETERMINATION: The Board of Supervisors will consider adopting a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) determination of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for Zone Amendment 25-0002 and Tract Map 25-0001.
GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY: The Board of Supervisors will consider finding that the proposed R-1 zone district is consistent with the subject property's Suburban Residential (SR) General Plan land use designation and that the proposed zoning is compatible with the existing land uses in the area.
All proposed actions are subject to amendment or modification by the Board of Supervisors.
All interested parties are encouraged and invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed environmental finding and/or the merits of the proposed ordinance prior to the hearing or participate in the public hearing.
