NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Eastvale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 , at 6:00 p.m. at the Eastvale City Hall Council Chambers located at 12363 Limonite Avenue, Suite 910, Eastvale, CA 91752, to consider Project No. 26-20021 Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the proposed use of an indoor fitness and sports facility (dba Forge District Gym) located within The Goodman Commerce Center.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project includes a request for a CUP to allow for an indoor fitness and sports facility consisting of a weight equipment, free weights, cardio equipment, warm up area, VIP longe, recovery area, and two (2) class rooms within a 28,378 portion of an existing 58,422 square foot building (CR-14) within the Goodman Commerce Center.
PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located at 5220 Hamner Avenue - The Goodman Commerce Center (Assessor’s Parcel Number: 160-510-053); at the northeast corner of Hamner Avenue and Commerce. The project site is not located on a hazardous materials site listed under Government Code Section 65962.5.
ENVIRONMENTAL: In accordance the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15301, Existing Facilities, an action at an existing facility, such as receiving a permit, is considered a Class 1 exemption if the action involves negligible or no expansion of an existing or former use. The proposed CUP would allow for an indoor fitness and sports facility. The proposed CUP would not result in physical changes to the existing structure or environment because the CUP would not change the exterior design of the building beyond what has been previously approved. Therefore, the proposed CUP qualifies for a Class 1 exemption (Section 15301) and no further environmental review pursuant to CEQA is required.
