NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Grass Valley Community Development Director or designee of Director will decide whether to approve or deny a Minor Use Permit on May 19, 2026, at Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main Street, Grass Valley, California. A public hearing will be held only if requested in writing by any interested person before the date specified. If a Public Hearing is requested by May 18, 2026, one will be scheduled and noticed for hearing as soon thereafter as possible.Project: Minor Use Permit (26PLN-0019) for a small-scale ceramic studio with ceramic retail and one-employee. Location : 107 West Main Street, Grass Valley, 95945 (APN: 008-346-004), roughly 50-feet from the West Main and South Auburn Street intersection. Environmental Review : Exempt, per CA Environmental Quality Act Categorical Exemption, Section 15301 - Existing Facilities.
Information on this proposal is available at the Community Development Department, Planning Division at Grass Valley City Hall during normal business hours, M - Th; 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Community Development Director or designee of Director will consider at the public hearing statements and testimony submitted for and against these matters. The Community Development Director or designee of Director shall take whatever action is determined necessary and appropriate. Any public hearing may be continued from time to time.
If you challenge the Community Development Director’s or designee of Director’s action on appeal to the City Council or in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Director or designee of Director at, or prior to, the public hearing.
