NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Grass Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers at Grass Valley City Hall, 125 East Main Street, Grass Valley, California, for the following project:
Subdivision Map for Affordable Housing and Initial Study/ Mitigated Negative Declaration (23PLN-0027): A Tentative Subdivision Map is proposed for the division of the ±3.74-acre parcel into 12 lots. The 12 lots range in size from ±2,775 (Lot 8) to ±6,646 (Lot 11) square feet. There is no minimum parcel size in the NC-Flex Zone; however, the lots shall be large enough to accommodate their intended use (i.e. residential use). The project will also involve remediation of metal-laden soils prior to development. Project Location : 200 Block Dorsey Avenue, Grass Valley, CA 95945 (APNs: 035-260-062, -064, -077 . Environmental Review: The project is subject to the California Environmental Quality Act, a Subsequent Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared to analyze the environmental impacts of the proposed project. Public Comment for the report was a 30-day period (4/20/2026 – 5/19/2026, SCH Number: 2019119068. The Planning Commission will make a determination on the applications and the adoption of the Mitigated Negative Declaration (SCH: 2019119068 .
