NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 1:30 PM in Council Chambers, Lower Level, City Hall, 2000 Main Street, Huntington Beach, the Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following items:

COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 26-009 (DIGESTER GAS FACILITIES REHABILITATION) : Applicant : Jacob Dalgoff Property Owner : County Sanitation District #1 of Orange County Request : To remove and replace the existing digester gas equipment, upgrade the existing flare station equipment and construct a new 1,500 sq. ft. electrical building. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Item # 1 is located in the appealable jurisdiction of the Coastal Zone and includes Coastal Development Permit No. 26-009, filed on March 11, 2026, in conjunction with the above request. The Coastal Development Permit hearing consists of a public hearing, Zoning Administrator discussion and action. The Zoning Administrator’s action may be appealed to the Planning Commission within 10 working days accompanied by an appeal fee set by City Council resolution. Item # 1 may be appealed directly to the Coastal Commission, South Coast Area Office, 301 E. Ocean Blvd, Suite 300, Long Beach, CA, 90802 , pursuant to Section 13110 of the California Code of Regulations or if Title 14, Section 13573 of the California Administrative Code is applicable.

Copies of the executive summary will be available to interested parties at City Hall or online at http://www.huntingtonbeachca.gov on Friday, May 15, 2026.ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the application as outlined above. If you challenge the Zoning Administrator’s action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing. Under the provisions of the Huntington Beach Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, the action taken by the Zoning Administrator is final unless an appeal is filed to the Planning Commission by you or by an interested party. Said appeal must be in writing and must set forth in detail the action and grounds by which the applicant or interested party deems himself aggrieved. Said appeal must be accompanied by a filing fee of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars ($3,876.00) if the appeal is filed by a single family dwelling property owner appealing the decision on his own property and Five Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars ($5,349.00) if the appeal is filed by any other party. The appeal shall be submitted to the Secretary of the Planning Commission within ten (10) calendar days of the date of the Zoning Administrator's action, unless otherwise noted.
