CITY OF LA PUENTE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of La Puente will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 15900 East Main Street, La Puente, California, to consider the following matter: GENERAL PLAN ADMENDMENT NO. 2601 & MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENT NO. 2601 The City Council will consider: (1) adoption of a Resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 2601 to amend the Land Use Element and Housing Element of the General Plan; (2) adoption of an Ordinance approving Municipal Code Amendment No. 2601 amending Title 10 (Zoning) of the La Puente Municipal Code to establish Chapter 10.21 (Religious Congregational Sites Overlay), Chapter 10.51 (Replacement Housing Units), and Chapter 10.52 (Housing Element Sites) to implement 6th Cycle Housing Element Programs 3a, 3b, and 3c; (3) adoption of an Ordinance updating the Official Zoning Map to apply the Religious Congregational Sites Overlay and Housing Reuse Overlay districts to specific parcels identified in the Housing Element; and (4) adoption of a CEQA Addendum to the 6th Cycle Housing Element Negative Declaration and direction to file a Notice of Determination. All interested parties may appear and present testimony with regard to this matter.
