NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Lomita Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on Monday, June 8, 2026, to consider the following: Zoning text Amendment No. 202603 : An amendment to the planned residential development standards, division of land, and senior citizen housing and multifamily housing development standards to amend Sections 111.15.02(B), 111.30.17 and 111.30.14 of Lomita Municipal Code (LMC) Title XI (Planning and Zoning) Chapter 1 (Zoning), and LMC Chapter 2, and find the action to be categorically exempt from the California Environmentally Quality Act Zoning Text Amendment No. 202604 : An amendment to remove Section 111.43.07 (Affordable housing inlieu requirements) of LMC Title XI (Planning and Zoning) Chapter 1 (Zoning) and find the action to be categorically exempt from the CEQA The public hearings will take place in the Council Chambers at Lomita City Hall, 24300 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita, CA 90717.
