Notice of Public Meeting/Hearing The Association of Monterey Bay Area of Governments (AMBAG) Board of Directors to consider Final 2050 MTP/SCS and the 2050 MTP/SCS Final EIR at its June 10, 2026 meeting, following a public hearing.The 2050 MTP/SCS is a long-range plan that contains an integrated set of public policies and investments to maintain, manage and improve land use strategies and the transportation system in the Monterey Bay region through the year 2050.On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the AMBAG Board of Directors will be asked to certify the Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) prepared for the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation/Sustainable Communities Strategy (MTP/SCS); adopt CEQA Findings of Fact, Statement of Overriding Considerations, and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program; make a finding that the SCS achieves the regional greenhouse gas reduction targets established by the California Air Resources Board; adopt the Final 2026 Regional Growth Forecast; and adopt the Final 2050 MTP/SCS.The public meeting/hearing will be held in person at 24580 Silver Cloud Court, Monterey, CA 93940 and virtually via Zoom. These actions will be considered as part of the regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting at 6:00 p.m. on June 10, 2026. The agenda for this meeting will be posted at www.ambag.org.
