OCEANSIDE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Oceanside will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2026 AT 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 300 North Coast Highway, Oceanside, California, to consider the following: CONSIDERATION OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP2500003) FOR A CANNABIS CULTIVATION FACILITY WITHIN 25 HOOPHOUSE STRUCTURES LOCATED AT 1319 SLEEPING INDIAN ROAD SOUTH MORRO HILLS 47 CANNABIS CULTIVATION APPLICANT: SOUTH MORRO HILLS 47, LLC The Planning Commission, at their March 23, 2026 meeting, recommended by a 50 vote (Balma, Dodds absent) that the City Council approve the project. The proposed project is categorically exempt pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Article 19, Section 15301, "Existing Facilities." Project materials and environmental documentation are available for review at the following website: https://crw.cityofoceanside.com/etrakit3/Search/project.aspx please utilize the project number listed above to identify the record for the subject project. For further information on this item, contact Dane Thompson, Senior Planner at (760) 4353562. The agenda and staff report will be available the Friday before the public hearing.
