CITY OF PITTSBURG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE PITTSBURG CITY COUNCIL WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON: Date: JUNE 1, 2026 Time: 7:00 P.M. Place: COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 65 CIVIC AVENUE, PITTSBURG Concerning the following matter: CONSIDER THE 2025 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Pittsburg, California, will hold a Public Hearing on June 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter, in the City Council Chambers located at 65 Civic Avenue, Pittsburg, CA 94565 to consider the following matter: Hold a Public Hearing to receive comments from the public on the final draft of the City of Pittsburg 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP). The City is preparing its 2025 UWMP to continue to provide adequate water supplies to meet existing and future water demands and through the next 25 years. The City is inviting public review and comment on its draft 2025 UWMP, which provides a 5-year update to the already adopted 2020 UWMP. The plan updates existing and future water needs, includes a Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP), a Drought Risk Assessment (DRA), and must be submitted to the California Department of Water Resources every five years. Written communications may be filed prior to the Public Hearing. At the conclusion of the receipt of public comments, the Public Hearing will be closed.
