NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 BUDGET HEARINGS
SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Government Code sections 29064 and 29080, a public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Suite 263, Redding, California, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, for the Shasta County Board of Supervisors to hold budget hearings on the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Recommended Budget for Shasta County.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, at the same date, time, and location, the Board will adjourn and reconvene respectively as the Shasta County Water Agency, the Shasta County In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Governing Board, and the Shasta County Housing Authority, to consider the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Recommended Budget for each.
The Recommended Budget documents are available to the general public for inspection in the Office of the Clerk of the Board at the address below.
Any member of the public may appear and be heard regarding any item of the Recommended Budgets or for the inclusion of additional items as outlined below. All proposals for revisions shall be submitted in writing to the Clerk of the Board before the close of the public hearing.
All interested parties are encouraged and invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed budget prior to the public hearing or participate in the public hearing. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities. To submit comments electronically, please forward them to shastacountybos@shastacounty.gov. To submit comments via U.S. Mail, please forward them to the Clerk of the Board to arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. one day prior to the meeting at the following address: Shasta County Clerk of the Board, 1450 Court Street, Suite 308B, Redding, CA 96001.
Further, pursuant to Government Code section 29081, the hearings may be continued from day to day until concluded, but not to exceed a total of 14 calendar days.

PLEASE NOTE that any challenge of the proposed action in court may be limited to addressing only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the appropriate authority at, or prior to, the public hearing.
