CITY OF RICHMOND RENT BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 RENT PROGRAM BUDGET NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rent Board of the City of Richmond has scheduled a public hearing for May 13, 2026, in accordance with the Fair Rent, Just Cause for Eviction, and Homeowner Protection Ordinance (Richmond Municipal Code Section 11.100.060(n)) to: Consider adoption of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 Rent Program Budget. The Rent Program is charged with implementation of the Richmond Fair Rent, Just Cause for Eviction, and Homeowner Protection Ordinance. The Rent Program budget shall be funded by the Residential Rental Housing Fee, paid by Landlords, in accordance with Section 11.100.060(l) of the Fair Rent, Just Cause for Eviction, and Homeowner Protection Ordinance. The proposed budget shall be posted on the Rent Program website at https://bit.ly/3qPoMEt and posted outside of the Community Services Building, located at 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804, in advance of the hearing for inspection by Monday, May 11, 2026. All persons having objections to or wishing to speak in support of said Budget may appear and be heard before the Rent Board at the Community Services Building, City Council Chambers, located at 440 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter, on May 13, 2026.
