CITY OF RICHMOND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 24, 2026, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon as thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Richmond City Council will conduct a public hearing in person at 440 Civic Center Plaza, and via Zoom video conference to consider the following item: ADOPT an Ordinance amending the Richmond Municipal Code (RMC) Article VIII (Fire) Chapter 8.16 (Fire Prevention Code) to adopt the 2025 California Fire Code with local amendments and to adopt the 2025 California Wildland-Urban Interface Code with local amendments A copy of the ordinance being considered for adoption is on file with the Office of the City Clerk and open to public inspection at 450 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804. All agenda materials are posted online at http://www.ci.richmond.ca.us/151/Council-Agenda-Documents. For questions, contact Fire Marshal Dante J. Wiley at 510-307-8090.
