PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Basalt Town Council for the purpose of considering adopting the following ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF BASALT, COLORADO, APPROVING CODE AMENDMENTS TO THE TOWN CODE, TOWN CODE SECTION 18-103 TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE 2025 COLORADO WILDFIRE RESILIENCY CODESaid Public Hearing and second reading of the ordinance will be held no earlier than 6:00 p.m. during a meeting of the Basalt Town Council on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Basalt Town Hall, 101 Midland Avenue, Basalt, Colorado. All interested parties may present comments and evidence pertinent to this item.
The meeting could be held by telephone or other electronic means of participation, such as video-conferencing, at which public comments will be taken by phone or through a video conferencing system. Both options of attending the meeting in person or participating remotely may be made available. Please see the meeting agenda posted on the Agenda Center on the Town's webpage, www.basalt.net , for updates on how the meeting will be conducted. Regardless of whether the meeting ends up being by telephone/ other electronic means or in-person, a public comment option will be made available and instructions will be provided with the meeting agenda.
