REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ENGINEERING AND
COASTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
The City of Apalachicola is requesting sealed statements of interest and qualifications from qualified and licensed firms and individuals to provide COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING AND COASTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES complying with the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), 287.055 Florida Statute. The selected firm will handle coastal management and general municipal engineering. Contracts will be awarded on a non-exclusive, continuing basis for three (3) years with an option for two (2) one-year extensions.
Sealed and hardcopy statements with original or electronic signature and three (3) additional copies, plus one (1) complete electronic copy (PDF), must be received no later than June 18, 2026 @ 2:00 PM Eastern Time, at the following location:

The face of the sealed envelope shall be plainly marked identifying the vendor, with the RFQ Title and Number. Submissions received after closing time will not be accepted. Immediately after the close time, submittals will be opened and read aloud and publicly acknowledged. Interested parties are invited to attend.
At the conclusion of the selection process, a Notice of Intent to Award will be posted to the Citys website @
www.cityofapalachicola.com.
Complete specifications may be obtained from the City of Apalachicolas above website. Respondents are responsible for obtaining addendums and are advised to check the website on a frequent basis.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals, to waive any submittal informalities, and to re-advertise for submittals when deemed in the best interests of the City.
