REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT & FACILITY RENOVATION PROJECTS
Edward Waters University (EWU) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured firms for design-build construction, renovation, HVAC replacement, laboratory modernization, and faci-lity improvement projects located on the Edward Waters University campus in Jacksonville, Florida.
Projects include:
Lee-Cousins Building Office Suite Renovations
Lee-Cousins Building Chiller Re-placement
Adams-Jenkins Gymnasium 80-Ton RTU Replacement
Centennial Hall Academic Innovation & Learning Lab Renovation
EWU Welcome Center & Tiger One Stop Renovation
Hatcher-Stewart Chemistry Lab Renovation
The estimated aggregate project value is approximately $3.8 million. Funding is provided through State of Florida and Federal grant pro-grams. Contractors must demonstrate experience with publicly funded construction projects and compliance with all applicable fe-deral, state, and local procurement requirements.
Proposal submissions are due no later than:
Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST
