REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
EDWARD WATERS UNIVERSITY
CENTENNIAL HALL WINDOW REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Edward Waters University (EWU) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured Ge-neral Contracting firms for the re-placement of 118 windows at Cen-tennial Hall, a historic structure located on the Edward Waters Uni-versity campus in Jacksonville, Flo-rida.
Centennial Hall is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and the State of Florida Register of Historic Places. Contractors must demonstrate experience with histo-ric preservation projects and pub-licly funded construction projects.
The estimated project value is ap-proximately $1 million. Funding is provided through State of Florida and Federal grant programs, in-cluding the Florida Division of His-toric Resources and the National Park Service. Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local procurement and construction requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Florida licensed General Contractor
Experience with historic structures and window replacement projects
Experience with publicly funded construction projects
Bonding capacity and financial stability
Compliance with applicable fede-ral grant requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200
INSURANCE & BONDING:
Selected contractor shall provide:
Commercial General Liability In-surance
Workers Compensation Insurance
Builders Risk Insurance
Bid Bond
Performance Bond
Payment Bond
PROPOSAL DEADLINE:
All proposals must be received no later than:
