Until 2:00 PM, Local Time, June 16, 2026, at which time and place all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in Community Room #108, adjacent to Town Council Chambers. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the Town Clerk, on paper and in electronic format, in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Bids received after the time and date specified will not be considered. The face of the envelope shall be addressed as follows:

Eganfuskee Street Water Main Improvements (W2515)
The general nature and scope of this project is:
Furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to improve the water distribution system along Eganfuskee St., Waldemar Rd., and Body Ct., and their intersection with Paulina Rd. Water distribution improvements include, but are not limited to: furnishing and installing 665 LF of 4 and 6 PVC water main, 3 isolation gate valves; 4 1 water services and 4 2 water services that are single/double, same side/road crossing and 11 connections from the new meter boxes to existing water services, 2 hydrant assemblies; removal and disposal of 20 LF of asbestos concrete pipe and grout/abandon in place 620 LF of various sizes of asbestos concrete pipe. Repairs and restoration includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of 405 LF of roadway curb, 35 SY of concrete driveways, 350 LF of roadway edge repair and 1,200 SY of mill/resurfacing. Additional items of work include, but are not limited to, notification to affected property owners, temporary traffic control, coordination with Town staff to isolate portions of the distribution system, backfill, compaction, inspection, disinfection, testing, same day restoration of residential water services and property access, and all other related work required to provide a complete and operational water system as described by the Bid Documents.
Bid Documents will be available on May 19, 2026 through Euna OpenBids, formerly DemandStar, at www.demandstar.com. Bid Documents can be downloaded by registering for a free agency subscription for the Town of Jupiter (Owner).
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 2:00 pm at the Town of Jupiter Water Treatment Plant, located at 17403 S. Central Blvd., Jupiter, FL 33458 within the Utilities Administration Conference Room. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not a requirement for bid qualification; however, bidders are encouraged to attend.
All questions concerning this project shall be directed to Steven Montemayor, PE, Senior Utilities Engineer, in writing by email StevenM@jupiter.fl.us (with the Project Name in the subject of the email). Emails should be delivered with a Read Receipt requested to confirm successful receipt by the Owner. Clarification and changes to the bid documents, if needed, will be made by addendum through www.Demandstar.com.
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
