Notice of Intent to Consider Enactment of an Ordinance NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 125.66, Florida Statutes, that the Broward County Board of County Commissioners intends to consider enactment of an Ordinance on March 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Governmental Center East, 115 South Andrews Avenue, Room 422, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301, the title of the Ordinance being as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO BATTERY RECYCLING; AMENDING SECTIONS 14-150 THROUGH 14-153 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES (CODE); AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (Sponsored by Senator Steve Geller) Interested parties may appear in person at the above-referenced meeting of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners and be heard with respect to this public hearing item.
