Notice of Intent to Consider Enactment of an Ordinance NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 125.66, Florida Statutes, that the Broward County Board of County Commissioners intends to consider enactment of an Ordinance on April 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Governmental Center East, 115 South Andrews Avenue, Room 422, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301, the title of the Ordinance being as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, PERTAINING TO THE LANDLORD REGISTRATION, MINIMUM STANDARDS, AND RESIDENTIAL RENTAL PROPERTY INSPECTIONS PROGRAM (PROGRAM); AMENDING SECTION 39-118 OF THE BROWARD COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES (CODE) BY ELIMINATING THE ANNUAL RENEWAL FEE FOR THE PROGRAM; RENUMBERING ARTICLES IX AND X OF CHAPTER 39 OF THE CODE; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, INCLUSION IN THE CODE, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
