Notice of Intent to Consider Approval of the First Amendment to Lease Agreement between Broward County and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission NOTICE is hereby given by the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County, Florida, pursuant to the applicable provisions of Chapter 94-429, Laws of Florida, that said Board will hold public hearings on April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and May 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Governmental Center East, 115 South Andrews Avenue, Room 422, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33301, to consider approval of the First Amendment to Lease Agreement between Broward County and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The proposed amendment extends the term through December 31, 2035, updates the provisions related to improvements, and updates miscellaneous provisions. Interested parties may appear in person at the above-referenced meetings of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners and be heard with respect to this public hearing item. Members of the public appearing in person must comply with any posted requirements regarding social distancing or facial coverings while in County buildings in compliance with the Broward County administrative policy.
