At the hearing any citizen, property owner, public official or local government representative shall be entitled to speak for or against the subject of this public hearing in person or by letter addressed to the Planning Council. Interested parties appearing in person should arrive no later than 10:00 a.m. to register to speak. Public Hearing on Amendment to the Broward County Land Use Plan Text  City of Fort Lauderdale 
Eliminating the geographic restriction for dwelling units within the existing Activity Center area and allowing dwelling units throughout the entire 361.7 acres; the proposed text amendment does not expand or modify any of the adopted intensities or densities; approximately 361.7 acres; generally located on the west side of Interstate 95, between McNab Road/C-14 Canal and Northwest 56 Street, bisected by Cypress Creek Road and the CSX Railroad.

In accordance with Section 3.08 of the Broward County Planning Council Rules of Procedure, all persons are hereby advised that any presentation to the Broward County Planning Council should be as concise as possible, and the Chair may limit the time of each individual to allow maximum participation by the public at large. In addition, by a majority vote, Planning Council members may limit the length of a meeting or of any agenda item or set a time for adjournment.
