Public hearing for major development project amendment in Bradenton.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MAJOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AMENDMENT
The City of Bradenton Planning Commission will meet in regular session on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 101 Old Main Street, Bradenton to consider the following items at a public hearing:
 
Resolution 26-28: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BRADENTON APPROVING APPLICATION PLN-MAJ-26-0001 FOR A MAJOR AMENDMENT TO THE JORDAN CREEK EAST PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (PDP-23-4841) TO APPROVE AN ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPTION FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1201 27TH STREET EAST AND 2906 11TH AVENUE EAST (PARCEL ID NUMBERS 1387000050 AND 1387200007), MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; OPTION A IS A PDP SITE PLAN FOR 66 SEMI-DETACHED RESIDENTIAL UNITS AS APPROVED WITH ORDINANCE 4027; OPTION B IS A PDP SITE PLAN FOR 106 TOWNHOME UNITS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.  Application filed by Matthew J. Morris of Pape-Dawson Consulting Engineers, LLC (agent) for Adam Jacobson, Manager of Jordan Creek at Bradenton East, LLC (owner).
 
All interested persons and parties may appear either in person and be heard or submit written comments regarding the above matter to the Planning and Community Development Director and they will be heard and considered.  The hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary. Pursuant to Florida Statute 286.0105, if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, council, agency or commission at this meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The City does not provide verbatim transcripts.
