PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF CEDAR KEY, FLORIDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Cedar Key will hold a Public Workshop on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 809 6th Street, Cedar Key, Florida 32625. The purpose of this workshop is to discuss and plan for the proposed Community Center project, including preliminary concepts, potential funding opportunities, site considerations, and identified community needs. This workshop is open to the public pursuant to Section 286.011, Florida Statutes (Florida Sunshine Law). Two or more members of the City Commission may be present and may discuss matters that may foreseeably come before the Commission for action. No formal action will be taken during this workshop. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), persons with disabilities needing special accommodations to participate in this proceeding should contact City Hall at (352) 543-5132 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes (Florida Public Records Law), all written communications, electronic mail, or other records received by the City in connection with this workshop are public records and subject to disclosure upon request.
