CITY OF CEDAR KEY, FLORIDA NOTICE OF SPECIAL CITY COMMISSION MEETING PROPOSED ADDITION TO LOCAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Cedar Key, Florida, will hold a Special City Commission Meeting on: Date: April 9, 2026 Time: 5:00 p.m. Location: City Hall, 809 6th Street, Cedar Key, Florida The purpose of this meeting is to consider written nominations for the placement of the following properties on the Cedar Key Local Register of Historic Places, pursuant to Section 4-3.01.03 of the City of Cedar Key Land Development Code: Property 1: 357 2nd Street, Cedar Key, Florida Parcel Identification Number: 08587-000-00 Property 2: 709 5th Street, Cedar Key, Florida Parcel Identification Number: 08664-001-00 The City Commission will review the nominations, supporting materials, and any recommendations received, and will determine whether the properties meet the criteria for historic designation as set forth in the Land Development Code. All interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk prior to the meeting. Property owners have the right to submit written objections to the proposed designation in accordance with City Code. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact the City Clerks Office at (352) 543-5132 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
