Purpose and Effect: The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss and obtain public input regarding Policy 1.60. Artificial Intelligence Responsible Use Policy. Policy 1.60 is proposed to be amended as follows:
The Duval County School District Artificial Intelligence Responsible Use Policy is a new policy that establishes expectations for safe, ethical, and responsible AI use to support teaching, learning, and district operationswhile protecting privacy/security and reducing risks like bias and misuse.
