NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF NICEVILLE, FLORIDA The Niceville City Council will conduct their regular meeting starting at 6:00 PM, April 14, 2026 at the Niceville City Council Meeting Room located at 208 Partin Drive North. Interested parties may appear at any of these public hearings and provide verbal comments or may provide written comments to the City Clerks Office. Verbal comments must be received at least 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting to be included in the agenda packet. If a person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at such meetings, such person will need a record of the proceeding and, for such purpose, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. Agenda items may be inspected by the public by visiting the Niceville City Clerks Office located at 208 Partin Drive North, Niceville, FL 32578. The following items will be considered: Ordinance No. 26-04-01 - An ordinance of the City of Niceville, Florida; providing for authority; providing for property described as 721 Powell Drive, more particularly described in the body of the ordinance, to be rezoned R-2 (single or multi-family residential) zoning district; approving the amendment to the official zoning map of the land development code as depicted on the attached map; repealing all ordinances in conflict herewith; providing for severability and conflicts; providing for scriveners errors; providing for modifications; providing for codification; and providing for an effective date.
