VOLUSIA-FLAGLER TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ORGANIZATION (TPO) FY 2026/27 TO FY 2030/31 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP) AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT The draft Volusia-Flagler TPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for FY 2026/27 to FY 2030/31 is available for public review and comment on the TPO website at www.VFTPO.org. Comments regarding the TIP may be submitted by contacting the TPO at the following address, phone, or email before close of business (5:00 pm) on Monday, June 22, 2026: Volusia-Flagler TPO Attn: Pamela Blankenship 1540 Cornerstone Blvd. Suite 240 Daytona Beach, FL 32117 386-271-0249 ext. 1 PBlankenship@vftpo.org The TIP is a short-range list of proposed transportation improvement projects for the metropolitan planning area, including all of Volusia County and Flagler County. A TIP must include all transportation projects within the metropolitan planning area that are proposed for funding under Title 23 and Title 49 Chapter 53, United States Code. It must also include all regionally significant projects requiring action by FHWA or FTA, and for information purposes, all regionally significant projects regardless of funding source. These projects include highway, bridge, bicycle, pedestrian, maintenance, transit, transportation disadvantaged, and aviation projects. The TIP is required to be financially constrained by year and include a financial plan that demonstrates which projects can be implemented using current revenue sources and which projects are to be implemented using projected revenues. The public participation process used for the development of the TIP is also used to satisfy the Volusia County Transit Services Division Program of Projects (POP) and Flagler County Public Transportation POP as required by the Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 Program. The POP is a list of transit-related activities developed each year to indicate funding expenditures on items including vehicle purchases, facility construction and renovation, major equipment upgrades, etc. The TPO Board is expected to take action on the FY 2026/27 to FY 2030/31 TIP at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Information on the meeting can be found on the TPOs website at www.VFTPO.org.
