Volusia County's Emergency Management Division hereby gives notice of Volusia County's intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located east of Lake Winnemissett. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 25-04-6918P. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along stormwater ponds and wetlands east of Lake Winnemissett located within the Cresswind development.
The 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall be established, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen, narrow and be established within the area of revision.
Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the Volusia County Kelly Administration Building at 123 West Indiana Avenue, Deland, FL. Interested persons may call the land development manager at 386-258-4088 for additional information from 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday.
