Miscellaneous Public Notices NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS Notice is hereby given that the following public hearings will be held in the Council Chambers, 1st floor, City Hall, 117 West Duval Street, St. James Building, Jacksonville, Florida, concerning: ORDINANCE 2026-328 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING AND/OR DISCLAIMING AN OPENED AND IMPROVED PORTION OF AN UNNAMED ALLEY, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT OF JACKSONVILLE HEIGHTS, NORTH HALF OF TOWN SITE, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 3, PAGE 51, OF THE CURRENT PUBLIC RECORDS OF DUVAL COUNTY, FLORIDA, LOCATED IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 9, AT THE REQUEST OF MAECHEL SAFAR; PROVIDING FOR APPROVAL SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. City Council Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. The Transportation, Energy, and Utilities (TEU) Committee Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 9:30 A.M. A copy of the Ordinance (s) is available for public inspection in the Council Legislative Services Division, Suite 430, City Hall.
